LETHBRIDGE – The L.C.I. Rams are headed to the Tier I regional final following a wild 28-21 overtime victory over the Notre Dame Pride on Saturday (Nov. 11).

The fourth-ranked team from Lethbridge knocked off the third-ranked team from Calgary in a game that saw a little bit of everything.

Starting QB John Evans was knocked from the game in the final minute of regulation, and backup QB Zach Jacobs took the reins in overtime.

The Rams chose to take the ball as overtime got underway, and Jacobs took to the air connecting with running back Will Boehme over the middle which helped L.C.I. advance down the field.

Receiver Jack Halvorson would eventually put the Rams ahead, before their defence shut the door on the Pride on three straight plays to preserve the victory.

With the win, L.C.I. has advanced to the South Final and waiting in the wings is the number-one ranked St. Francis Browns.

The Rams will look to topple their second straight juggernaut program from Calgary on Saturday, Nov. 18 at 1 p.m. at Shouldice Park in Calgary.
