WINNIPEG –   Richardson International Limited has expanded its retail crop inputs network across the Prairies, with the acquisition of 10 full-service retail crop inputs locations from CHS Canada LP. The retailers provide producers with chemical, fertilizer and seed services.

Richardson will acquire nine crop inputs locations in Alberta – at Alix, Beiseker, Bow Island, Carseland, Craddock, Lacombe, Rolling Hills, Standard and Vauxhall – and one in Edenwold, Saskatchewan.

Tom Hamilton, Vice-President, Agribusiness Operations, says Richardson Pioneer, is focused on building its retail crop inputs business and expanding our network across Western Canada, and will continue to target strategic locations to expand the company’s presence.

Richardson has over 2,600 employees across Canada, the U.S. and the U.K. The transaction is expected to close in November.
