Bulls emerge from weekend in first place

OKOTOKS – The Lethbridge Bulls concluded their weekend with a half-game lead atop the WMBL Western Division standings.
The Bulls and Dawgs split a doubleheader in Okotoks Sunday, June 25. Lethbridge won the first game 6-5, scoring the tying and winning runs in the sixth inning. Okotoks shut out the Bulls 3-0 in the nightcap, allowing just five hits.
The Bulls overtook Okotoks in the standings Saturday, June 24 with a 7-5 home victory.
Lethbridge will once again face Okotoks in their next game, Tuesday, June 27, 7:05 p.m. at Spitz Stadium.
