Bulls defeat Brooks on three-run eighth inning

LETHBRIDGE — Right fielder Nolan Handley batted 2-for-3 with one walk, to help lead the Bulls to a 6-3 victory over the Brooks Bombers Friday, June 23.

Reliever Dawson Moser was credited with the win after taking over on the mound from Greg Hollman in the 8th inning with the game tied 3-3. The Bulls took the lead with three runs in the bottom of the 8th and Chris Stodolka came in for the save in the 9th.

The Bulls improved to 11-6 with the win, a half game back of the division-leading Okotoks Dawgs.

The Dawgs will be in Lethbridge for a first place showdown Saturday, June 24, 7:05 at Spitz Stadium.
