Street sweeping begins in hamlets, subdivisions

LETHBRIDGE COUNTY – Annual street sweeping gets underway on Saturday, May 6 around Lethbridge County.

Crews will start in Sunset Acres, Mountain Meadows, River Brink, Monarch, Diamond City, Shaughnessy and Deer Run Estates, and move on to Fairview, the Broxburn Business Park, Vista Meadows, Turin and Iron Springs by May 13.

In order to get the job done, residents are asked not to park on the street beginning May 6.

The County says parked vehicles not only impede progress, but they also create the inability to complete the work thoroughly and generate additional safety hazards.
