Food for Fares & Stuff-a-Bus support local food banks

LETHBRIDGE – In the spirit of the holiday season, Lethbridge Transit is calling on the public to show support with donations in two upcoming events to support local food banks.

Food for Fares

From Wednesday, November 30 to Tuesday, December 6, any transit users donating a non-perishable food item can ride for free.

Stuff-a-Bus

On Tuesday, December 6, residents are invited to the annual Christmas Stuff-a- Bus event. From 9 am to 9 pm, a Lethbridge Transit bus will be on location at both Save-On-Foods stores in the city.

The public can stop by with non-perishable food donations to help stuff-a-bus full to help those in need this holiday season.

All food collected will support both the Lethbridge Food Bank and the Interfaith Food Bank.
