Lethbridge Police Arrest 22-Year-Old Man Wanted For Hit and Run

LETHBRIDGE – Lethbridge Police located and arrested Anthony Johnston in connection with a hit and run collision last weekend.

Police issued a warrant for the arrest of the 22-year-old man who fled the scene of a collision.

On August 7, 2016, at 6:55 p.m. police responded to a report of a hit and run collision in the roundabout at Garry Drive and Highlands Boulevard West.

The suspect was not located at the time, but was later identified after a video still recorded at the scene was issued to the public.

Johnston has been charged with possession of stolen property over $5,000, possession of stolen property under $5,000, dangerous driving, disqualified driving, possession of a weapon dangerous to the public, breach of probation, driving motor vehicle without insurance and failing to remain at the scene of a collision.

Chantelle Joyce Patherbone, 26, was arrested by K9 Units after the collision. She has been charged with two counts of possession of stolen property.

Patherbone appeared in court earlier this week.
