Volunteers Needed for Gilbert Paterson Middle School Playground Construction

LETHBRIDGE – Gilbert Paterson Middle School has reached their goal of just under $400,000 for a new playground and now they are ready to put that money into action.

Volunteers are needed next week to help construct the Gilbert Paterson Middle School Playground.

Crews are set to work from Wednesday, Aug. 17 to Saturday, Aug. 20 for the jungle gym that will serve both the school and the southside community. 

Volunteers need to be 18 years of age and older, and group volunteering is encouraged.

After crews wrap up construction next week, the Gibert Paterson Tiger Society and the school will host a grand opening scheduled for Sept. 9 at 11 a.m.
