LETHBRIDGE – A trial date has been set for a 28-year old Calgary man, accused of sexually assaulting an adult and two minors at a Lethbridge hotel.

On April 16, 2016, the Lethbridge Police Service was called to a hotel in the 2300 block of Mayor Magrath Drive South, after receiving a complaint that a woman and two girls were inappropriately touched at the hotel swimming pool.

Wijdan Yasir was located at the hotel and arrested without incident. He was later charged with three counts of sexual assault and two counts of sexual interference with a minor.

Wednesday (June 22) morning in court, the Crown and defence confirmed that a trial date was in place, and it was set for February 3, 6 and 7, 2017.
